Les Enfants

Les Enfants at Trinity is a creative and nurturing school community. Our mission is to build confident, resilient upstanders on a foundation of academic excellence, moral responsibility, and faith who are prepared to make a positive difference in the world.

Les Enfants at Trinity is a child-centered and play-based early learning center offering a full-day program with half-day options for all age groups. Our philosophy is that play is a child's work. We view our students as young investigators: capable, curious, social, and intrinsically motivated to master the world around them through hands-on experiences. Our students learn to use their imaginations, develop problem-solving skills, gain self-control, communicate effectively, express their thoughts and feelings, obtain self-confidence, share, form secure relationships with peers and adults, strengthen their motor skills, all while having fun!

Teachers at Les Enfants strive to foster a lifelong love of learning at the earliest age. Through thoughtfully designed classroom environments and intentionally individualized curricula, children become ardent questioners, empathetic upstanders, and fluent communicators. Teachers enable children to reach their full potential through positive individual invitations, small, and whole group experiences.

Founded in 1986, Les Enfants ensured that countless children in the New Orleans area were ready emotionally and academically to enter Preschool. After securing a permanent home at Trinity Episcopal School in 2003, Les Enfants at Trinity continues this tradition by promoting joyful confidence and independence in its young students.
