Our Episcopal Identity

At Trinity Episcopal School, we stress the importance of incorporating one’s beliefs into his or her day-to-day actions and choices. As an Episcopal School, we proudly uphold a tradition that welcomes and values students from a wide range of faith traditions. We believe that our school community and each individual’s faith is strengthened by learning from a spiritually diverse student body.

School Prayer

O’ God, our heavenly Father, who has given us your son Jesus Christ to be our friend and elder brother: Grant that we may continue in his friendship and do such things as will please him. Bless us in our work and in our play; make us gentle, generous, truthful, kind and brave. Keep us in purity of heart, and let the life of our school, go on from strength to strength and have its place and meaning in your Kingdom. All this we ask through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Chapel at Trinity

Each school day begins with a morning Chapel service for First through Eighth Grade students, while Les Enfants and Preschool students enjoy a Chapel service once a week.

Traditionally led by our School Chaplain, services often feature other speakers including our Head of School, Trinity students, and invited guests who add additional viewpoints and perspectives on faith and life.

Chapel provides a time to come together to sing, pray, and reflect on how God is working within our school, community, and throughout the world.

Chapel also serves as the focal point for our communal life, featuring traditional school ceremonies and student performances that connect our present with Trinity’s rich history. There are many special Chapels throughout the year, including Eucharist Chapels, Guitar Chapel, Alumni Chapel, Birthday Blessings, Honor Chapel, Blessing of the Animals, Lessons and Carols, Olympics Chapel, Diversity Chapel, Jazz Chapel, Founders Day, and Upstander Chapel.

First Grade students, who are smiling and orderly, enter Chapel in line .There are stained glass windows in the background.
Preschool boys sit together in the school chapel, wearing n uniforms. One smiles at the camera while the others look ahead. The background shows other children sitting quietly.
